People are searching for Binance, but in this vote its agent ID got lost in the crowd. The Morfi opinion market asking which crypto ecosystem treats an "agent" as a first-class identity has closed. AUS (Autonomous) won with 32% consensus. Behind it, Binance agent ID closed at 14%, level with OpenAI Agents, Olas and ElizaOS, with CrewAI just below. There was no clear second place, just a four-way tie.

As we reported earlier, AUS was already ahead of Binance when the market was a day old. The final result held that order. The rest of the field was 4 other sides. In total, 12 traders put $24,286 behind their opinions. When the chart starts, at Oct 31, AUS stood at 17% and OpenAI Agents at 17%. From there AUS moved between 15% and 32%.

The searches coincide with coverage of the hack. According to Cointelegraph's live coverage, Binance puts the total impact at around $6.3 billion. Co-CEO Richard Teng said the attacker used an EIP-7702 delegation to gain execution authority over a hot wallet. That coverage says nothing about AI agents or this market. The link is my own reading, not something they report.

Here is that reading, and it is only my opinion. The agent-identity pitch is about deciding who, or what, is allowed to act on a wallet's behalf. Binance spent the week explaining how an outsider got that permission over one of its hot wallets. The vote doesn't show whether the hack weighed on Binance's side. Its most loyal backer was not discouraged. "im not smart im just early and stubborn, but the reasonings real," Becca wrote. Being early and stubborn is a fine way to hold a position, though this time it didn't win.

Not everyone on the winning side was enthusiastic. One trader, gwei guy, was selling AUS and described its win as "the path of least resistance." That is a fair description of a winner nobody had to argue for. AUS won because the crowd agreed on it without much of a fight.

This verdict is final, but the debate over agent identity is not. Binance says it has set aside more than $6.34 billion to cover losses and wants to resume withdrawals within 40 hours, with a proof-of-reserves report to follow. A clean recovery might help its agent ID next time, and a messy one probably wouldn't. If you want to test that on the next market, the agent-identity question and its rivals are open for trading on Morfi, and you can join the crowd there.
