LYON LED FROM THE START, THEN PSG CAUGHT THEM! The Crowd's Final Call Flips the Women's UCL

ON YOUR FEET! Remember Lyon running this race from the front? As we reported, Lyon hadn't trailed PSG once when the fight over the UEFA Women's Champions League kicked off. Forget that. The crowd has given its final verdict and PSG are top of the pile. That's a comeback, people.

Here are the numbers. PSG finish at 30% consensus and Lyon sit at 23%. Also on the ballot: 3 other sides. This is Morfi's opinion market, so these are conviction levels with money behind them, not a head count. 39 unique traders put $46,874 on the line, all inside a single day of trading.

Now watch how it happened. When the chart starts (Oct 30), PSG stood at 20% and Lyon at 21%. From there PSG moved between 16% and 30%, and the lead between the top two changed hands 1 time. That's not cruising. That's a team grinding out rep after rep until the bar goes up.

And Chelsea? Their name is all over the search trends right now, and they're on this ballot, but this crowd didn't send them to the top step. One Chelsea backer, floor sweeper, made the case plainly: "i just pictured how it actually goes down and bet on that". Respect the visualisation. But in this market a vision without enough backing behind it doesn't win the vote.

My take, and it's only my take: Lyon, this one's on you. You had the head start and you gave it up. You don't lead from the first whistle and then coast! PSG did the boring work, kept stacking conviction and took the lead when it counted. That's how champions train. Lyon, pick yourselves up, put the chalk on and get back under the bar.

This is the crowd's call, not the pitch's. A single day of trading settled it, and the real trophy still has to be won on grass. If you think the crowd got it wrong, whether you back Lyon, Chelsea or a dark horse, come and put your opinion to work in the opinion markets on Morfi. NOW GET IN THERE!
