Draw the curtains and dim the gas lamps, darlings, because the cards have finished shuffling. When I first stared into the crystal, the Fomo Wallet had grabbed an early crown while MetaMask's orange fox paced its browser tab. Now the mist has cleared and the omen is settled: the crowd has crowned the wallet named after a feeling, and turned its back on the wallet named after a mask.

And what is this mask they spurn? According to Wikipedia, MetaMask is a software wallet built by ConsenSys for the Ethereum blockchain and its EVM-compatible cousins. It reaches people through a browser extension or a mobile app and plugs them into decentralized applications, and as of early 2026 it reported more than a hundred million users worldwide. In late 2025 it even added Polymarket to its interface, so the fox already has a betting habit of its own. Its old weak spot is on the record too: back in 2019 Brave launched a built-in browser wallet, claiming it was less exposed to phishing than MetaMask's extension. As for Fomo, the spirits went quiet. Our researchers found nothing sourced on any product by that name, so it walks into this séance as pure vibe.

Where the crowd stands
  • Fomo wallet69%
  • MetaMask wallet31%

Pure vibe is winning anyway. On the Morfi opinion markets, the "Fomo wallet" side holds 69% consensus against 31% for the "MetaMask wallet". That comes from 19 unique traders who have put $42,330 behind their opinions, and the market opened less than a day ago. That is not a crowd counting users, mind you. It's a crowd counting how much it believes, and its conviction leans toward the stranger who arrived with no paperwork, over the giant with a hundred-million-strong congregation.

The orb sees a wallet rising on pure feeling and a fox stuck behind glass.

Here is my reading, and it's opinion, steeped in incense. The Tower card doesn't fall on the weak, it falls on the comfortable. MetaMask became crypto's front door by living inside the browser, and the browser is exactly where the world now looks for phishing hooks. So a crowd voting for an approach called fear of missing out isn't really voting for a product. It's voting against the feeling of being stuck in an extension. Is that wise? The orb chuckles. Wanting the shiny new thing has emptied more purses than any curse ever did.

Watch the candle closely, though. A verdict reached in under a day can flicker if the MetaMask faithful wake up and pile in, or if anyone finally works out what a Fomo wallet actually is. Until then the prophecy stands, and you can still talk back to it: join the market on Morfi and put your money where your omen is.
