The bell just rang on a new tech brawl. Opinion market traders on Morfi are fighting over one simple question: which "choice device" is the most useful for daily tasks? On the ballot are the handphone, the laptop, the desktop PC and the humble calculator. Trading opened less than a day ago and nobody is holding back.
Out in front is "Handphone (Smartphone)" with 25% consensus and 9 holders behind it. It's the thing you check before you get out of bed, so maybe the lead isn't a shock. Still, an early lead isn't a win.
Right behind it are the desktop loyalists. "Desktop PC" has 25% consensus and 7 holders. Our take, and it's only our opinion: PC people never give up a fight. They'll tell you about big screens, real keyboards and actual horsepower until the sun comes up.
The rest of the ballot (2) is still in play too. Don't count out the laptop crowd, and maybe keep an eye on the calculator fans. Nobody knows which way this goes once more traders pile in.
So far 11 unique traders have put $45,133 behind their opinions. These numbers are consensus levels, meaning how strongly backers believe in each side, not a headcount. The market is young, so the standings could flip fast.
