Oh, you young people and your robots. In my day the only helper in the house was a wooden spoon, and nobody argued about which spoon was smartest. Now a brand-new market has opened asking which AI agent is the most useful for everyday chores, and the crowd is already squabbling like cousins over the last roast potato.

Here is the background, dear. ChatGPT is a chatbot from OpenAI, first released on November 30, 2022. According to Wikipedia, it reached 900 million weekly active users in February 2026, and it can write and debug programs, compose essays, translate and summarize text. The same article warns that it may give answers that sound plausible but are wrong, which is what we call hallucination. At my age we call it a neighbour at the fence. Meanwhile Claude is a series of language models from the American company Anthropic, released as a chatbot in March 2023.

Now the pudding. Trading opened less than a day ago, and ChatGPT is out in front at 22% consensus with 15 holders. Claude is the runner-up at 20% consensus with 10 holders. Remember, that is the crowd's conviction level, not a headcount. Also fighting for a seat at the table: 3 other sides.

  • Microsoft Copilot20%

So far 16 traders have put $60,247 behind their opinions. That is a modest first batch of guests, so nobody should be carving the winner's name into the cake yet. Still, being ahead on day one against a chatbot that arrived months later fits the story in the brief: ChatGPT got to the party first and brought a very large crowd.

My take, and it is only my opinion: being popular is not the same as being useful. The loudest pot on the stove is not always the one with the best stew in it. I would judge a helper the way I judge a dishcloth, by whether it still does the job when things get messy. If the favourite keeps handing me confident nonsense, I will be backing the quieter contender, and so should you.

Watch whether Claude closes the gap as more traders arrive, and whether Gemini, Perplexity or Copilot sneak up the ballot while everyone is staring at the top two. The market is on Morfi, where real people back their opinion with money. Come and pick the helper you actually use, not the one your grandson brags about.
