Pull up a chair, dears, and mind the cat. In my day, if you wanted a clever answer you asked the vicar or the woman at the library. Now you young people type your questions into a box and a computer types back, very politely, at all hours. And today, apparently, you've started arguing about which box is nicer: ChatGPT or Claude.
The fight opened on Morfi less than a day ago. These are opinion markets where people put real money behind what they think, which is more than my bridge club ever did. The question is simple: which chatbot do people prefer for everyday jobs? Think usefulness, writing, reasoning and the whole experience. Very sensible things to judge by. I judge my toaster the same way.

Early doors, Claude has its elbows on the table with 55% consensus, backed by 4 holders. ChatGPT, the one everybody's grandson already has on his phone, sits at 45% with 7 holders. Mind you, that's the crowd's conviction, not a headcount. It's how firmly folk are leaning, like how sure I am that the oven's still on.
So far 10 traders have joined in, with $17,326 behind their opinions. That's barely a church raffle, so don't go engraving any trophies. The famous name doesn't always win, though. Plenty of us have chosen the quiet neighbour who listens over the loud one who's always first to the door. My guess, and it's only a guess, is that some of you like a helper that writes like a well-brought-up letter.
Still, it's only been a day, and a day is nothing. Bread hasn't even finished proving. ChatGPT has plenty of fans and plenty of time to come back. If you've got an opinion, and you young people always do, join the market on Morfi and back your side. I'll be here with the kettle on, watching the numbers like a pot that refuses to boil.
