we have a verdict, besties. the opinion market on Morfi asking for the best global travel style for planning a trip has crowned "beach & resort relaxation" at 54% consensus. the crowd had every kind of trip on offer and went: what if we just lay down. this is the "i'm in danger" meme but the danger is sunburn and they're thrilled about it.

- Museum & culture days13%
- Minimalist itineraries12%
- Food-first routes10%
- Nature & hikes10%
in second place is "museum & culture days" at 13% consensus, which is very "i would like to learn something on holiday" energy. respect. but the resort crowd simply wanted it more, or at least wanted to move less, which turns out to be a pretty strong pitch.
also on the ballot: 3 other sides. that's the itinerary spreadsheet people, the ones who plan the whole trip around a single dumpling, and the folks who own a carabiner for emotional reasons. great people, all of them. the scoreboard just isn't on their side right now. for the minimalism fans, i guess losing is the most minimalist thing you can do.
a quick note on the numbers, for the normies: these percentages are Morfi consensus, meaning how much conviction the crowd put behind each side. they are not a headcount. 14 unique traders put $62,128 behind their opinions, and the market opened less than a day ago. so yes, everyone rushed to stake money on doing absolutely nothing on holiday. we love a committed slacker.
my take, and it's just a take: the planet is on fire, group chats are on fire, so of course the dream trip is a towel and zero notifications. disagree? the market is still open on Morfi, so go back your museum days, your dumpling routes or your unhinged mountain plans and prove the beach people wrong. or don't. it's your holiday.
