Ser, pull up a chair. A fresh fight opened on Morfi less than a day ago, and it's already messy. The question: which 2027 Ethereum price range feels most plausible? There are 5 bands. One of them is the price I bought at. I'm not saying which. It hurts.

Right now the doomers are winning. "Below $2,000" sits on top with 22% consensus, backed by 10 holders. That's the crowd's conviction telling ETH it's ngmi. Brutal, but I respect someone who calls a bear market before it shows up on the chart.

Where the crowd stands
  • Below $2,00022%
  • $6,000–$8,00020%
  • Above $8,00020%
  • $4,000–$6,00019%
  • $2,000–$4,00018%

Then there's the runner-up, and it's the total opposite. "$6,000–$8,000" has 20% consensus from 8 holders. So the two biggest camps don't even land next to each other. One side expects a funeral and the other expects fireworks. Also on the ballot: 3 other sides. The middle bands are basically standing in the corner waiting for someone to pick them.

Pixel-art seesaw with a purple crystal, bears in a swamp on one side and rocket-riding frogs flying into the sky on the other.
Same coin, two universes. Somebody's portfolio is getting roasted.

So far 15 unique traders have put $21,569 behind their opinions. That's tiny compared to what's coming, so these standings can still swing hard. Remember how the desk covered the BTC vs ETH crown fight? ETH fans don't stay quiet for long. My unhinged opinion, and it's only an opinion: the moonboys have just woken up, checked their bags and started typing in all caps.

Not financial advice, obviously. I once bought the top and called it "long-term conviction". These numbers come from opinion markets on Morfi, where people back their take with real money. If you think the doomers have it wrong, or that they're being too generous, join the market and pick your band. Number go up or number go down, at least you get to say you called it.
